Hi, my name is Ant! I'm a Canadian artist with a BSc in biology and a passion for drawing animals and other living things. I primarily work with digital programs and inks, and sometimes work with pencil crayons, pastels, and paints. CONDENSED TOS
NOTICE: This is the CONDENSED version of the TOS.Detailed info may be missing. The purpose of this condensed version is to provide an easy overview of the main points. The full detailed TOS is included in the order form and must be read and agreed to before proceeding. The full TOS will be attached to invoices.
Full payments must be received before I start working.
Product will be delivered digitally.
Customer has right to three complete revisions in the sketching phase.
Customer has right to reasonable amounts of minor edits past the sketching phase (i.e eyecolour change, solid background colour change).
Prices are listed in USD (United States Dollars).
Seller receives payment in CAD (Canadian dollars) via PayPal invoice.
Customer can cancel order at any time, but will only receive a full refund if the commission work hasn't started. Customer will receive a partial refund if work is in progress, and no refund if work is completed.
Seller can cancel and refund any order at any time.
Products cannot be used for any commercial use.
Customer does not hold the right to use the product in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, cryptocurrency, or future inventions in the space.
Customer does not hold the right to use the product in any AI-related technology, including submitting for datasets, and any future inventions in the space.

A NOTE ON PRINTING:
I don't print my artwork for customers, but I do my best to make it printable for those who want to print it themselves! Please let me know in your order form if you intend to print your commission, as printers use a more limited colour profile than screens. I'll work with colour settings that reflect how it will look when printed. Additionally, they should be printed at the designated sizes (or smaller).I'll provide several file types and more detailed info on printing when I send your finished commission!

reference pictures
Here's some advice on what makes a good pet portrait reference photo, using my childhood dog for examples. Reference pictures don't need to perfectly meet these criteria, this is just insight into what I look for, and hopefully it helps you choose your pictures!1. High quality: good enough quality to see details, in focus
2. Distance: close enough to see details, but not so close that the perspective is distorted
3. Framing: includes everything I need to draw, no parts are cut off (i.e. an ear, paws, tail, etc.)
4. Flattering: every pet picture is cute, but consider if the pose and expression aesthetically make sense for a portrait!
5. Lighting: bright enough to see details, accurately reflects colours if necessary
6. Visibility: pet is facing the camera

good: high quality, but not well-framed
good: well-framed, but lower quality
poor: adorable but not flattering and low quality!
poor: too close to her face, perspective is distorted

If you'd like to commission me, please fill out this google form!I will email you to confirm your commission, discuss further, and finalize prices. I will then send you a Paypal invoice for the full amount. I will begin working when the invoice is paid. I aim for all my commissions to be finished within the month I accept them.I will email you a sketch, at which point you can ask for up to three re-draws for no extra cost. When the commission is complete, I will email you a link to a google drive containing the files (this is to ensure image quality doesn't degrade through emailing).If you fill out the google form and it's been over 1 week without a response from me:
1) make sure you entered the correct email address in the google form
2) check your spam inbox!
